Where do you find homes online for San Francisco?
There’s a variety of ways you can find Real Estate online in San Francisco. While a lot of these sites look very nice, what’s missing is finding up to date data on the status and even the price of a property.
The new Public MLS from The San Francisco Association of Realtors is a nice solution to get started, but still leaves a lot to be desired for the user. Certain tools are missing such as the option to create an account to receive updates on price changes and new listings. Also what seems to be absent is how long a property has been on the market. What we have used a lot over the past couple of years has been CleanOffer.com. This site however, must be used in agreement with a subscribing agent. That’s the hitch if you want more accuracy. Right now, this is hands down the best search portal for finding property in San Francisco.
Of course, many home shoppers might find that after narrowing their search on a specific neighborhood or building, it’s as easy as being in touch with their agent or keeping their ear to the ground with the newspaper. There’s nothing as timely as taking control and setting up some alerts on a search engine to prompt you as soon as opportunity arises.
